South Hub DataUp Workshop
DataUp is a program to increase the capacity for data science education at primarily-teaching, minority-serving and –led liberal arts institutions and community colleges. In conjunction with the Data and Software Carpentry programs, the University of Virgin Islands (UVI) and Texas A&M – Kingsville (TAM-K) will participate in 2-day data science related workshops hosted on their respective campuses.
UVI’s workshop will focus on shell, git, and Python, whereas TAM-K’s workshop will focus on Ecology with R. If you are a member of either of these campuses and would like to register for the event, please contact Kendra Strickland.
